It was gritty, compelling and hard edged. Tahar Rahim was sensational also. @ 5plitreel, I have been recommended The Beat That My Heart Skipped but have never made the effort to see it. I'll check it out. I had seen De battre mon cœur s'est arrêté - The Beat That My Heart Skipped, but this was even better.
