Thanks for the...@ Michelle - I did like that scene. Thanks for the link!

@ Castor - The premise is intriguing, and the romance didn't work for me (though for others it did). I don't think this is an essential big screen experience, but still worth a look in time.

@ Steven - I am a little surprised at the Sundance praise. It's a definitive 'indie' film, so the budget constraints might have restricted Cahill and Marling from taking the story further, but I still found it a bit slow, and visually unappealing.

@ Tom - Yeah, you and Tom really liked it. There were some really good scenes and the revelation was quite moving. I liked the premise, I just wish it probed into the existence of the mirror earth a bit more. I struggled to buy the relationship too, which didn't help. But, it has put Cahill and Marling on the map. I saw on Anomalous Material, she is tied to a Redford picture, so its great to see an indie film having some success.Andy Bucklehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15655573933693289124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2890338907751315894.post-20195490740958138702011-08-10T10:01:01.182+10:002011-08-10T10:01:01.182+10:00We spoke about this in person a little bit, I like...We spoke about this in person a little bit, I liked this one way more than you. The direction is little amateurish at times, but I totally bought the relationship. Plus there are just a couple of great scenes - the scientist on TV, and the big "revelation" moment were both fantastic.

I do wish it had explored the sci-fi elements a little more...maybe if they'd had more moneyTom Clifthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10969940401754806603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2890338907751315894.post-32410383167592466622011-08-10T05:19:15.978+10:002011-08-10T05:19:15.978+10:00I'm going to wait this film when it gets leake...I'm going to wait this film when it gets leaked in proper form. Yet, I'm surprised that with all of the buzz about this film back in Sundance. It turns out not to be so great. Seemed like an intriguing premise. Too bad the central romance doesn't quite work, I might still check this out on DVD.Castorhttp://www.anomalousmaterial.com/moviesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2890338907751315894.post-40597591514996188922011-08-09T20:40:34.594+10:002011-08-09T20:40:34.594+10:00I liked the musical saw scene in 'Another Eart...I liked the musical saw scene in 'Another Earth' - it was the pivotal point in the two characters' relationship (and the music was gorgeous and surprisingly ethereal.
