With the Academy set to reveal their nominations in less than a week, I am going to update my predictions: The only films I am yet to see that figure to be prominent are 127 Hours, True Grit, Another Year and Get Low. But these predictions are a mix of both the hype surrounding the ceremony and my own personal selections.

I'd like to see Black Swan defeat The Social Network for best film but I doubt it'll happen. Maybe The King's Speech will spring a surprise but I reckon that will get Best Film at the BAFTAs.
ReplyDeleteMe too Dan!! I loved The Social Network, but I think Aronofsky deserves the recognition here. But as you said, looks unlikely. I don't think The King's Speech is deserving of Best Picture to be honest. But Firth and Rush are both outstanding!
