This week I was privileged enough to be invited along to be the guest on the MatineeCast, the fantastic podcasting show hosted by Ryan McNeil, who runs The Matinee. Though we live across the world from one another, we got to talking the other morning about all-things film.
The primary focus of Episode 58 was Joss Whedon's monster hit, The Avengers, which makes up a large portion of the discussion, but we also talk about some smaller indie films we are looking forward to amidst this Summer/Winter blockbuster season, and list our top five films starring at least one member from the cast from The Avengers. That was fun.
This was my debut spot on a podcast, so naturally I was a little bit nervous, but I had a blast recording the show (though it is clear I need to speak slower AND get a better mic). I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate Ryan for being a sensational host and for the consistently impressive work he turns out on his site, and thank him for inviting me along as a guest.
I hope you all enjoy it.
