Poster for 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo'
I know plenty of other people have been posting this recently, but I needed a quick break from reviewing SFF films (next is Julia Leigh's Sleeping Beauty, but progress has been slow) and during my procrastination this poster caught me eye. I mean, how could it not? The marketing campaign for David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a very very good one. First the leaked trailer, and now this poster. WOW!

Certainly an enigmatic and erotic poster.
ReplyDeleteSo tell me - are you excited for this movie, or are you like me and still can't find out why an additional adaptation was needed at all, particularly this soon after the previous one?
ReplyDelete(Oh, and I totally agree - definitely a provocative choice.)
I am actually pretty excited for this film. I think it is way too soon, but I wasn't that impressed by the Swedish versions. 'Dragon Tattoo' was certainly the best of the three, but I think Fincher can adapt the novel into a great film. It is unnecessary, though.
ReplyDeleteHey, I was against the 'Let the Right One In' remake, and it turned out pretty good. I watched 'The Troll Hunter' on opening night of SFF, and when I jumped online yesterday I saw an article saying that Chris Columbus is on board for a re-make. Crazy!!
