    1. Nice list. A lot of them appear in my 'Honourable Mentions'. Liked Coexist, but not as memorable as many of the ones in my Top 10. If I updated it tomorrow, I would probably have 'The Idler Wheel' in there.

  2. Terrific list, Andy. Love your choices.
(Though my number 1 and 2, Tindersticks' The Something Rain and Jessie Ware's Devotion, don't show up on your list, but still, I can get behind all the ones I've heard here.)

    1. I will have to check out 'The Something Rain'. Thanks 4 the recommendation. Yeah, 'Devotion' is great. Was in my Top 10 for most of the year. Then I listened to Death Grips and The Maccabees ;-)

  4. Channel Orange... what a masterpiece that is.

I remember you posting something about The Seer a few months ago, so I decided to it them up. Just... wow.

  5. Great list Andy! Nice to see Maccabees there :D proud to know I had something to do with it. I really need to check out Tame Impala, they have been on everybody's Best 2012 albums lately...and they're Australians, right?

    1. You certainly did. It was your recommendation. Tame Impala are Australian and though I liked their new album, I preferred their first one. Well worth listening too though - psychedelic rock.

  6. Nice that Chromatics is ranked so high, great tracks on that album, it's in my top 5 too. I also quite enjoyed that Beach House album.

There is actually an expanded edition of In Our Heads - Hot Chip, don't know if you're interested, I think the extra disc is on spotify.

Just published my favorite albums of 2012 list today, if you want to compare.
